This image won First Place in the Activities Category in the Devil’s Lake State Park Centennial Photo Contest in 2011. I was the only photographer to win multiple First Place Awards.

This photo also won a Gold Medal in the Recreation category of a statewide photography competition sponsored by the Wisconsin Office of Rural Health in August, 2012.

In September, 2012 it was also named a finalist in a national competition run by the National Rural Health Association.
