While this image was taken way back in 1974, it was never exhibited until it was selected by juror Katherine Edelman to be part of the 2006 Photo Midwest exhibition at the Porter Butts Gallery at UW Madison. Since then it has also been selected by juror Ida Wyman for the "Small Town Midwest" exhibit in 2008 and by juror David Wells for the "A Thousand Words" exhibit in 2011. The original negative had a bad scratch caused during development which rendered it unprintable until the digital era, where the scanned negative was easily repaired.
