This was my first photograph to win a major national award. It dates back to 1974 when I was a junior in High School. This photo received a top award in a national student photography contest from Eastman Kodak. This photo (and the original negative) are now part of the permanent collection of the George Eastman House International Museum of Photography in Rochester, New York.
